According to Radio Free Asia, Starbucks has opened a store in East Turkistan on the property of a Uyghur prisoner.

The prisoner, Jibrilla Enwer, was sentenced in 2019 and his property was confiscated. Uyghur organizations are calling for an investigation into Starbucks' involvement with the confiscated property.
